Annual Dinner 2027

Our 2026 Dinner is behind us but work on our 2027 Dinner is well underway.

Next year we will be welcoming the classes celebrating their 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and beyond year anniversaries.

If you are part of the 2017, 2007, 1997, 1987, 1977 Leaving Cert class or were part of that class at some point during your time in CBS we would love for you to attend our next dinner. Why not organise a reunion and book a table. Email ppu@midletoncbs.ie if you are organising a reunion and would like to be notified of details about the dinner when they are available.

Of course all past pupils are welcome at the dinner whether you are celebrating a milestone anniversary or not.

Annual Dinner

Our annual dinner is confirmed for Friday 23rd January in the beautiful setting of The Garryvoe Hotel.
Join us as we welcome back the Classes of 2016, 2006, 1996, 1986, 1976, and beyond as they celebrate milestone anniversaries. Of course all past pupils are welcome to attend, even if not a ‘6’.

We also welcome the Harty Cup winning team of 2006, marking 20 years since the schools 3rd win in the competition.

Golf Society

The union has a very active golf society.
More details will be posted in the new year.

60th Anniversary Dinner

Join us on January 24th 2025 for our 60th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Garryvoe Hotel.
Tickets cost €40 per person and includes a 3 course meal. Book a table for your class (10 people) for €400. Email Brendan on ppu@midletoncbs.ie to book your table. Book by the end of November to guarantee your table.

All-Ireland Quarter Final – Croke Cup

The senior hurling team have their next outing on Saturday 2nd March. They will play the runners-up of the Leinster PPS competition. The possible opponents are either St. Kierans of Kilkenny or Colaiste Eoin, Dublin.

AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Union will take place on Thursday 31st of January 2019 at 8pm in the Secondary School. 

€3000 Monster Bingo

€3000 prize fund to be won on Saturday 29th December.
With Christmas Eve and New Years Eve falling on Mondays this year we are holding a monster bingo on the middle Saturday at 3pm.
Bingo will continue as normal after the Christmas season on Monday 7th January.
