Midleton CBS Secondary School’s 2019 Dr. Harty Cup campaign continues this Saturday after their comprehensive victory over Our Lady’s, Templemore in the quarter-final earlier this month.

This Saturday, CBS face familiar opposition in De La Salle, Waterford who they met in their first group game of this year’s competition. The game was close throughout the first half with only a goal separating the sides at the break. In the second half, De La Salle started stronger scoring 1:01 from play, creating a 7 point lead. CBS responded with 1:06 to bring them back into the game. After a goal from Joe Stack and points from Gary Carroll and Cian Farmer the game headed into injury time with CBS down a point. Ross O’Regan scored a last minute point to secure the draw.
The Semi-Final which is sure to be another close affair takes place in Dugarvan’s Fraher Field, this Saturday at 1:30pm.
