Venue and kick off time of the soccer final has changed. Now on in Douglas Hall at 1pm.
SIXTY students across three year groups and two sports play for silverware and All-Ireland series progression this week. The U19 Soccer team are the first team out this week in their Munster Senior Cup Final on Monday with the Senior (U19) Hurlers playing in the Masita All-Ireland Quarter final this Wednesday.
The senior soccer team last Tuesday won their Munster ‘A’ semi-final 3-2 against a strong Carrick CBS. Conceding an early goal, Joe Stack score a fantastic goal, later he crossed the ball from a corner with Jamie Collins heading it in. Starting the second half Loic Nguefang smashed one home making it 3-1. Two minutes later Carrick added their second and final goal.
CBS now play Presentation Brothers College, Cork in the final on Monday.
And it may not end there; if the senior soccer team are successful on Monday they would play Wexford CBS on Thursday @1pm in the All-Ireland semi-final.
